Terms of Service
Last updated: 2026-05-09
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Tree Service Baton Rouge ("we", "our", "us") website and any tree services we perform for you. By using our website or hiring us, you agree to these Terms.
Estimates and Quotes
All written estimates are valid for 30 days from the date issued unless otherwise noted. Estimates are based on conditions visible at the time of inspection; significant changes (additional damage, hidden hazards, access changes) may require a revised estimate before work begins.
Scope of Work
Work performed will match the written estimate. Any change orders requested during the job (additional trees, deeper grinding, expanded scope) will be confirmed in writing or by signed approval before being performed.
Payment Terms
- Residential customers: Payment due on completion unless financing has been arranged.
- Insurance-covered work: Customer responsible for deductible at time of service; we bill the carrier directly where allowed.
- Commercial accounts: Net 30 standard with prior credit approval.
- Financing: Available for jobs over $1,000 with payment plans starting at 0% APR for qualified buyers, subject to third-party lender approval.
Late payments may incur a 1.5% monthly finance charge after 30 days past due.
Cancellation
You may cancel scheduled work at no charge with at least 48 hours notice. Same-day cancellations may be subject to a dispatch fee equal to the crew's travel and setup time.
Insurance and Liability
We carry $2,000,000 general liability and full workers' compensation coverage. Certificates available on request before work begins.
While we take all reasonable precautions, tree work involves inherent risks. We are not liable for:
- Damage caused by hidden defects or pre-existing structural issues in trees, structures, or underground utilities not marked by Louisiana 811
- Acts of God, weather events, or third-party actions during or after our work
- Settling, regrowth, or natural processes after stump grinding or removal
- Indirect, consequential, or incidental damages
Total liability for any claim is limited to the amount paid for the specific job giving rise to the claim.
Permits and Compliance
We pull tree-removal permits and heritage-tree notifications where required by EBR Parish or other local jurisdictions. Customer is responsible for HOA approvals and any other private-deed restrictions.
Photographs and Marketing
We may photograph completed work for our portfolio, marketing materials, and insurance records. Customer information is never shared in marketing materials. If you prefer no photographs, notify us in writing before work begins.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Louisiana, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of East Baton Rouge Parish, Louisiana.
Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms periodically. The "Last updated" date at the top will reflect the most recent change.
